Yashoda and Kevin: Hindu Wedding Ceremony: The Grand America, Salt Lake City

leave a comment »

Yashoda and Kevin’s Hindu wedding ceremony was held at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. Friends and family from literally all over the world came to celebrate the occasion. It was an honor to be the photographer for this beautiful, cultural and heart-felt day and night. I love the tradition and ceremony and styles of Indian weddings and this one was truly memorable. The love and fun was enjoyed by all, and young and old alike danced the night away. I think the images really reflect this special day. Special thanks to my second photographer extraordinaire, David Daniels, and to Yashoda and Kevin’s wonderful families. Most of all, congratulations to Yashoda and Kevin…a great couple who clearly belong together.

Engagement Ceremony: Yashoda and Kevin

with one comment

Yashoda and Kevin had their engagement ceremony recently in Salt Lake City, UT. In the Indian tradition, this ceremony binds not just the couple together, but unites the families as well (gotta like your in-laws! Good thing both of these families are lovely.) It was a fun afternoon with an interesting cultural ceremony, delicious food and amazing faces to photograph. As a photographer, it is great to know that at an Indian ceremony there will be incredible fashions and amazing, vibrant colors. The wedding is in February…can’t wait for the full-blown affair.

Shruthi and Brian: Hindu Ceremony at Stein Eriksen Lodge.

with 7 comments

Shruthi and Brian were recently married at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley, Utah. The two day event was incredibly beautiful and culturally fascinating. Shruthi and Brian were united using the traditions of the Hindu wedding ceremony and Indian culture. Once again, the teams from the Stein Eriksen Lodge and Soiree Productions put together a fantastic and fun event. Stellposy did the beautiful flowers and special thanks to my second photographer, Melissa Kelsey. A big round of applause to all involved and many years of happiness to the bride and groom!  You can view the entire set of images here.
