Scarlett and Nick: Winter Wedding at the Stein Eriksen Lodge

with one comment

I was very fortunate to be the photographer for Scarlett and Nick’s winter wedding at the always-gorgeous and elegant Stein Eriksen Hotel and Lodge in Park City, Utah. These guys and their families were a pleasure to work with and I am thrilled with the images from start to finish. Pam Dion Events did am amazing job with planning and decor and Shelley and the crew from Orchid Dynasty provided, as they always do, incredible floral arrangements, bouquets and flourishes. Scarlett and Nick clearly belong together and we wish them a wonderful journey.

I’m taking a break from the usual work postings to show off a few of the family kids and fellow travelers from our annual sojourn to Truro, MA. As usual, with this sort of photography, I am heavily influenced by one of my favorite photographers, Sally Mann. If you are interested in having your own family photographed, please check out my portrait company at Utah Portrait Arts.

Scenemakers: Behind the Scenes at the Victory Ranch, Utah

Jen at Scenemakers , event planners extraordinaire, asked me to document the wedding she and her crew planned at the beautiful Victory Ranch Club, located just outside of Park City, Utah. It was a stunning transformation of environment, from the smallest details to the grand scheme. As usual, they did a stunning job and hit the nail on the head in terms of details, color and atmosphere. The Bride, Maren Bargreen, designed and created all the beautiful and creative paper items, invites, etc.  The Victory Ranch is a pretty amazing location…only an hour from Salt Lake City, but with an almost Southern Utah vibe, complete with privacy, scenic mountain views and even a picturesque river. Great job, Jen!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Shelley and Jonathan and their families for the last year. The wedding celebration at the always lovely and elegant Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City on June 26 was the grand culmination. A great couple, beautiful setting, engaging families and fluid mix of cultures made for a wonderful day. The Joe Muscolino Band made beautiful music as always and the entire event was expertly crafted by Soiree Productions. Many thanks to all involved and wishing Shelley and Jonathan many happy years together!
