Flashes of Hope: Photography for Childhood Cancer Patients.

with one comment

I spent a beautiful morning last week at Camp Hobe with a great group of camp staff, fabulous photographers and uber-amazing kids. As volunteers for Flashes of Hope we were able to offer our services to over 100 children and their siblings currently being treated for childhood cancer. Flashes of Hope is a nonprofit organization that changes the way children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses see themselves through the gift of photography and raises money for pediatric cancer research. This was a truly heart-warming morning and I must thank this lively group of kids for being so wonderful. Please consider a donation to Flashes of Hope.

Utah Family Photography: Millcreek Canyon

I recently had the chance to meet and photograph the lovey Carlin family. We had one of the few nice spring days of the season and Millcreek Canyon was the prefect outdoor setting for these guys. I really love this set of images and the two daughter’s were perfectly cute and charming for the camera! If you’re interested a photography session with your own family, check out Utah Portrait Arts and let’s set up a time.

Yashoda and Kevin: Hindu Wedding Ceremony: The Grand America, Salt Lake City

Yashoda and Kevin’s Hindu wedding ceremony was held at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. Friends and family from literally all over the world came to celebrate the occasion. It was an honor to be the photographer for this beautiful, cultural and heart-felt day and night. I love the tradition and ceremony and styles of Indian weddings and this one was truly memorable. The love and fun was enjoyed by all, and young and old alike danced the night away. I think the images really reflect this special day. Special thanks to my second photographer extraordinaire, David Daniels, and to Yashoda and Kevin’s wonderful families. Most of all, congratulations to Yashoda and Kevin…a great couple who clearly belong together.
